Introduction of the tapered
roller bearing
Tapered roller
bearing mainly suffers radial load and united axial load, the carrying capacity
mainly depends on the track angles of the outer ring, the wider the angle is,
the stronger load the tapered roller bearing suffers. The tapered roller
bearing is of separated rolling bearing, and is classified as single line,
double line, and four line according to the line number of the rolling body in
the tapered roller bearing. For the single line tapered roller bearing, we need
to adjust the clearance while installing it; and for the double line and four
line ones, the clearance has been settled according to the user´s requirements when the tapered roller bearing left
factory, so it does not need to adjust.
The tapered
rollers arrange between the inner and outer tracks of the tapered roller
bearing, and this design method makes the tapered roller bearing especially
suit to suffer the radial and axial load. Tapered roller bearing is widely used
in motorcar, rolling mill, mine, metallurgy, plastic machinery and so on.
Though the tapered
roller bearing has a good performance and quality, it is a kind of high
precision component, so we should use it carefully, whatever how good property
of the tapered roller bearing we use, if we operate incorrectly, it would not
produce the expected high performance.
Under the
condition of grease lubrication, the components are separated by the
lubrication grease, so they do not touch each other, this could greatly reduce
the friction and wear of the tapered roller bearing. In addition, the
lubrication grease also has the ability to absorb some vibration.
Poignant noise of
the tapered roller bearing may result from incorrect lubrication and clearance.
The dents on the outer track would result in vibration to make a silvery noise,
if the noise is intermittent, it shows the rolling body may be injured, and the
great damage of the tapered roller bearing would bring a big noise.
