The reasons for the rise of temprature of the conveyor roller bearing generally include:
1. We must notice whether the quality of lubrication grease is getting bad. If the viscosity of lubrication grease is high, it could make the temprature of the conveyor roller bearing rise;
2. If the conveyor roller bearing has been installed tightly very much, the clearance among the components will be not loose enough, and that will result in rising the temprature of the conveyor roller bearing;
3. The rotation of the conveyor roller bearing base on the axis would make the temprature rise;
4. Too much load for the conveyor roller bearing could make the temprature rise too;
5. If the retainer of the conveyor roller bearing is damaged, it could make the temprature rise.
If the rotation is obviously not flexible after the conveyor roller bearing has been pressed into the machine, it indicates that the size of axis is too big, and the tolerance should be turned down. If the hand touch feeling is obvious when we rotate the conveyor roller bearing with our hands, maybe the tolerance is too big, or it has a bad roundness. So we must control not only the tolerance but also the roundness of the conveyor roller bearing. Now many manufactures only control the tolerance, but pay no attention to the roundness.
Because the conveyor roller bearing is the product of high precision, the conveyor roller bearing track is easily injured if the instalation is incorrect. We should use the method of gas or hydraulic pressure to instal the conveyor roller bearing, the up and down models should be kept horizontally, if not, the conveyor roller bearing would be damaged.
The iron scraps may enter the conveyor roller bearing while rotating on the machine. Some manufactures smear some grease on the conveyor roller bearing in order to instal conveniently, but it is hard to control, if smeared too much grease, the grease may easily enter the conveyor roller bearing.
