The life time of the conveyor idler relies on the quality and
working condition of the conveyor idler bearing, so increase
the life time of the conveyor idler bearing is very important. We must ensure
good sealability for the work space of the conveyor idler bearing.
It exists the matter for the breath of the conveyor idler while it
is working, that is to say, the gas inside the conveyor idler would escape
while the working temperature is high, and that of which would shrink while the
working temperature is low. At this time, if the sealability of the conveyor
idler is not good, the gas or liquid near the sealing lip would
enter the conveyor idler bearing, and if this has occurred
for a long time, some harmful substance to the conveyor idler bearing such as the
condensate water, would increase gradually to make the lubrication grease lose efficacy,
thus to damage the conveyor idler bearing and shorten the life time of it.
This case would be more and more serious with the increase of the
conveyor idler bearing´s rotate speed. So we have
developed an all-sealed structure for the conveyor idler bearing with multiple
sealing lips to cut off the connection between the conveyor idler and the outside. Furthermore, the gap between the
bottom hole of the conveyor idler bearing base and the
hole of guiding ring should be controlled to a small extent, and this could
also increase the sealability of the conveyor idler bearing.
