Main types and properties of
the rolling bearings (1)
1.
Tapered roller bearing
Tapered roller bearing could suffer a compared larger
radial load and axial load, but its limit rotate speed is compared lower. Its
inner ring and outer ring could be separated, so the clearance could be
adjusted during the installation. The tapered roller bearing is usually used
coupled and installed symmetrically. Tapered roller bearing is used in the
condition that the rotate speed is not too high and the rigidness of the axis
is compared better.
2. Deep groove ball bearing
Deep groove ball bearing mainly suffers radial load,
also a little axial load, the inner and outer axial lines are permitted to
deflect 8 to 16 angles while working. Deep groove ball bearing has low
friction, high limit rotate speed, simple structure and low price, and it is
the most widely used rolling bearing. But it has a poor ability to suffer
impact load. Deep groove ball bearing is suitable to be used in high speed
environment.
3. Thrust ball
bearing
Generally
speaking, the ferrule and rolling body of the thrust ball bearing could be
separated. It could be classified as single-track and both-track thrust ball
bearing as follows:
Single-track thrust ball bearing could only suffer
single-track axial load, and the inner holes of the two ferrules are not of the
same size, it is tight ferrule with the small inner diameter, while it is the
loose ferrule with the large inner diameter. And the two ferrules are fixed together
with the thrust ball bearing pedestal. The Single-track thrust ball bearing has
a compared lower limit rotate speed, so it is suitable to be used in the low
speed environment.
Both-track thrust
ball bearing could suffer both-track axial load, the middle ferrule is the
tight ferrule, and the other two ferrules are the loose ferrules. While working
with a high speed, the steel ball and retainer of the both-track thrust ball
bearing would rub with each other to generate heat because of the strong
centrifugal force, so to reduce its lifetime. So the both-track thrust ball
bearing is usually used in the low rotate speed and high axial load condition.
