Conveyor idler bearing is most frequently used in the mining industry, and the working environment of coal mining is in the pit, so the conveyor idler bearing is easily injured, thus the daily washing and maintenance of the conveyor idler bearing is very important.

Through the detecting by professional equipment, we could find the conveyor idler bearing not being injured while the conveyor idler is running or during the maintenance of it. So we wash the conveyor idler bearing and then install it on the conveyor idler again to continue to use, and it could also perform well. Because there are lots of conveyor idler bearings in the conveyor idler, we have researched some methods to wash the conveyor idler bearing fast and conveniently to enhance the work efficiency, save the cost, enhance the quality of the conveyor idler bearing and ensure the safe manufacture.

When washing the conveyor idler bearing, we put the conveyor idler bearing into the vessel with diesel oil in it to moisten the conveyor idler bearing, then we could use brush and rotate the conveyor idler bearing to make the dirt and impurities get out of the conveyor idler bearing, thus to ensure the conveyor idler bearing rotate fluently. And there may be some noise of the conveyor idler bearing after the washing, to overcome it, we could add some drops of machine oil into the conveyor idler bearing, and then rotate it for several times, this could decrease the noise obviously. But the manual work method for washing the conveyor idler bearing has already fallen behind.
