How to wash the conveyor roller bearing

When we remove the conveyor roller bearing to maintain it, we should first observe the appearance of it, confirm how much of the lubrication grease left in the conveyor roller bearing and sample some of the lubrication grease, and then wash the conveyor roller bearing with petrol or kerosene.

The washing of the conveyor roller bearing is classified as coarse clean and refined clean. First, we prepare a container and put metal net at the bottom of the container to prevent the conveyor roller bearing from touching the dirt. During the washing, if the conveyor roller bearing rotates with some dirt, it would damage the rolling surface of it, so we must notice it.

During the coarse clean process, use brush to clear away the lubrication grease, and then operate the refined clean: wash the conveyor roller bearing carefully while it is rotating in the cleaning oil.
