The out of service of the
mining bearing
The reasons for the out of service of the mining bearing are generally
classified as fracture and wear.
The main reasons for the fracture of the mining bearing are classified as defect and overload of it. When the load from the outside
exceeds the limitation that the material could suffer, the components of the
mining bearing may fracture, and that is called overload fracture. The overload
fracture is mainly caused by the gusty fault or incorrect installation of the
mining bearing.
When the defects for the components of
the mining bearing, such as little crack, bubble,
sundries, shrinkage cavity and burn, are shocked by the overload, it could also
cause fracture of the mining bearing, and that is
called defect fracture.
There are also many cases of the worn fracture. The worn fracture
of the mining bearing mainly refers to the abrasion by the hard particles from
the outside to the working surface of the mining bearing, and the hard particles would scratch the surface
of the mining bearing. The metal in the surface may even melt if the scratch is
serious and cause the adherence. Slight adherence wearing is called scratch,
and serious adherence wearing is called occlusion.
